Mix it Up | Fitness Games

I'll be the first to admit that my workouts can become stale.  I run about the same route daily and only vary that routine so much.  I had searched and thought about it and have found a way to mix up my next run with a scavenger hunt.

I know what you're thinking, but no,  I'm not going to go hide prizes or clues.  Instead, I list out 5 different activities (burpees, pushups, situps, ect) while pairing each move with a landmark I will pass on my run.  For example, steps up + bench.  When I reach a bench along my run, I will stop and do 20 step ups before continuing on my route.  I will repeat this every single time I see a bench along the way!

Keeping your mind busy and engaged during your run can help keep it fun while still ensuring you get the maximum results from your time.
