Two Ingredient Queso
So you've grabbed all the essentials: Batteries, water, flashlights, canned food.. well in my house every Hurricane deserves a party. We buckle down with a few other "essentials" to turn the night into a fun night in! Cue wine, beer, chips and the easiest queso you could make! While there are a ton of places I can think of for amazing queso, when you are stuck in the house (and drinking a lot of wine) a billion ingredients or running to the store ain't happening. Remember this simple and solid recipe, enjoy your movie night, and forget about the storm.
Ingredients:
1/2 block of Velveeta Cheese (about
1 small can of Ro*Tel (Choose your favorite flavor!)
Recipe:
Cube the cheese for easier melting. Combine the cubed cheese and Ro*Tel in a 4 cup glass measuring cup. You can use any microwavable dish however it is easiest to pour into cute serving dishes when using the measuring cup. Microwave for 2 minutes, stir, and repeat until melted.
Pour into your favorite dish and serve with tortilla chips. The hurricane may be a pain in the butt this weekend, but your queso doesn't have to be!
XO,
