Fall for Champagne 


Okay let's get real for a minute.  ANY chance I have to enjoy a glass of bubbly I do it.  Switch up your normal routine this season with this fall champagne cocktail recipe.  Pop that bottle, grab those glasses, and lets get this thing started!



Ingredients:
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup torn fresh basil
2 ounces hard apple cider
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
Champagne







Recipe:
In a small saucepan, combine honey, water and torn fresh basil stirring until the honey dissolves.  (About 2 minutes)  
Set aside to cool
In each of the 2 flutes, pour in 1 oz hard apple cider, 1/2 oz of the basil syrup, and 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice.  Top with Champagne and enjoy!
